Biography

Jimmy Paul Gilbert, age 64, of Austell passed away on Tuesday morning on July 20, 2010. He was born on May 15, 1946 to William Paul and Martha Gilbert in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up to become a United Stated Army soldier after graduating high school. He later worked as a quality control inspector at Thomas Concrete.

He is survived by a loving brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sandy Gilbert.

There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 3 o'clock pm at Mableton First Baptist Church with Reverend Stephen Byrd officiating. Friends will be accepted from 2:00pm - 3:00pm prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
